நரசிம்ம புராணம் (இந்தி: नरसिंह पुराण; Narasiṁha Purāṇa) உபபுராணங்களில் ஒன்றாகும். ஆர்.சி. ஹஸ்ரா தனது உபபுராணங்களில் உள்ள ஆய்வுகளில், அசல் உரை 5 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டின் பிற்பகுதியில் எழுதப்பட்டது என்ற முடிவுக்கு வந்தார், இருப்பினும் அதன் பல பகுதிகள் பின்னர் சேர்க்கப்பட்டன. இந்த படைப்பு சுமார் 1300 இல் தெலுங்கில் மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்டது.

உரையின் அச்சிடப்பட்ட பதிப்புகளால் வழங்கப்பட்ட மறுசீரமைப்பு 68 அத்தியாயங்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. உரையின் 8வது அத்தியாயம் யம கீதையின் மூன்று பதிப்புகளில் ஒன்றாகும் (மற்ற இரண்டு பதிப்புகள் விஷ்ணு புராணம், புத்தகம் 3, ch.1-7 மற்றும் அக்னி புராணம், புத்தகம் 3, ch.381). அத்தியாயங்கள் 36-54 விஷ்ணுவின் பத்து அவதாரங்களின் கதைகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. அத்தியாயம் 21 மற்றும் 22 இல் சூரிய வம்சம் (சூரிய வம்சம்) மற்றும் சோம வம்சம் (சந்திர வம்சம்) மன்னர்களின் குறுகிய பரம்பரை பட்டியல்கள் உள்ளன, முந்தையது சுத்தோனாவின் மகன் புத்தருடனும் பிந்தையது உதயணனின் பேரனான க்ஷேமகாவுடனும் முடிவடைகிறது. இந்த படைப்பின் 57-61 அத்தியாயங்கள் ஹரிதா சம்ஹிதா அல்லது லகுஹரிதா ஸ்மிருதி என்ற சுயாதீனமான படைப்பாகவும் காணப்படுகின்றன.
