வராஹ புராணம் (இந்தி: वराह पुराण, Varāha Purāṇa) என்பது இந்து மதத்தில் உள்ள புராணங்களின் இலக்கிய வகையைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு ஹிந்தி நூலாகும். இது நாராயணனை (விஷ்ணு) போற்றும் வைஷ்ணவ இலக்கியக் குழுவிற்கு சொந்தமானது, ஆனால் சிவன் மற்றும் சக்தியை (தெய்வங்கள் பிராமி, வைஷ்ணவி மற்றும் ரௌத்ரி என்று அழைக்கிறது) துதிப்பதற்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கப்பட்ட அத்தியாயங்களை உள்ளடக்கியது.

உரை பல பதிப்புகளில் உள்ளது, முக்கிய பகுதிகள் வரலாற்றில் இழக்கப்படுகின்றன. 10 மற்றும் 12 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டுகளுக்கு இடையில் இந்த உரை முதன்முதலில் முடிக்கப்பட்டதாக மதிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது, பின்னர் தொடர்ந்து திருத்தப்பட்டது. இந்த உரையின் எஞ்சியிருக்கும் கையெழுத்துப் பிரதிகள் லிங்க புராணத்தைப் போலவே குறிப்பிடத்தக்கவை, ஏனெனில் அவை ஒரு புராணத்தில் எதிர்பார்க்கப்படும் தேவையான பஞ்சலக்ஷணத்தை (ஐந்து பண்புகள்) உள்ளடக்கவில்லை. இது உண்மையில் புராணமாகத் தகுதி பெறுகிறதா என்றும், தற்போதுள்ள கையெழுத்துப் பிரதிகள் வைஷ்ணவ நடைமுறைகளை மையமாகக் கொண்ட ஒரு சமய கையேடுதானா என்றும், மதச்சார்பற்ற வழியில் சிவன், சக்தி மற்றும் பிற கடவுள்களைப் புகழ்ந்து பேசும் பிரிவுகள் உள்ளதா என்றும் அறிஞர்கள் கேள்வி எழுப்பியுள்ளனர்.

வராஹ புராணம் புராணக் கதைகளை உள்ளடக்கியது, குறிப்பாக விஷ்ணுவின் வராஹ அவதாரம் (அவதாரம்) ஒரு பெரிய வெள்ளத்தின் போது பூமியை (ப்ரித்வி) மீட்டது. இந்த உரையில் தெய்வங்கள் மற்றும் சிவன் பற்றிய புராணங்களும், தர்மசம்ஹிதா எனப்படும் கர்மா மற்றும் தர்மம் பற்றிய விவாதமும் அடங்கும். உரையின் பெரும்பகுதி மதுரா மற்றும் நேபாளத்தில் உள்ள கோயில்கள் மற்றும் தளங்களுக்கு இடைக்கால புவியியல் மகாத்ம்யா (சுற்றுலா வழிகாட்டிகள்) அர்ப்பணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது, ஆனால் மற்ற புராணங்களில் காணப்படும் மதுரா தொடர்பான பிரிவில் கிருஷ்ணரை வணங்குவது ஆர்வமாக இல்லை.
