मार्कंडेय पुराण (हिंदी: वारणाकण्डेय पुराण; IAST: Markaṇḍeya Purāṇa) हा हिंदू धर्मावरील हिंदी ग्रंथ आहे आणि अठरा प्रमुख पुराणांपैकी एक आहे. मार्कंडेय या मजकुराचे शीर्षक हिंदू इतिहासातील एका ऋषीला सूचित करते जे दोन दंतकथांमध्ये मध्यवर्ती पात्र आहेत, एक शिवाशी आणि दुसरा विष्णूशी संबंधित आहे. मार्कंडेय मजकूर हा एक पुराणकथा आहे ज्यामध्ये कोणत्याही विशिष्ट देवतेच्या बाजूने कोणत्याही सांप्रदायिक विचारांचे सादरीकरण नाही आणि संपूर्ण मजकूरात कोणत्याही देवतेला बोलावणे किंवा प्रार्थना केल्याचे वाचणे दुर्मिळ आहे.
